It would be impossible to cover everything but to help you have a better understanding of the financial issues that may be involved – or to minimize or avoid some common financial problems divorcing couples experience – we’re offering here some strongly suggested reading on important financial considerations to be aware of. These subjects may be relevant to decisions you’ll be making in mediation and we feel that reading what we’re providing here can be time well spent.

If you need an additional copy of any of the forms we sent and reviewed with you during your pre-mediation session with us you can download another by clicking here.
Once you complete our forms, please submit them to us along with your supporting documents at least 3 days before your financial mediation sessions begin. We use this information to create a monthly income and expense report and also a marital property report that you’ll be using when working with Lori.
If you record your personal and household expenses using a spreadsheet please copy the information onto our forms and then submit only our forms to us. Our forms match and line up with the what family court requires, where your spreadsheet unfortunately does not. This is greatly appreciated!
The Mediation Topics download below addresses the various financial issues and documentation (that may be) required in order to make some very important financial decisions you could find yourself discussing in mediation. Not all topics will apply to everyone, of course, but many will so we strongly recommend that you review it.
